Your weekly love note from God!
Matthew 3:16-17 And when Jesus had been baptized, just as he came up from the water, suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased.’
Your generation and many before you emphasized how Jesus was uniquely my child. That is true. But so is it true that YOU are uniquely my child. When I see you, I see my spirit alighting on you. You are my child, my beloved, with whom I am well pleased. Today I invite you to look in the mirror and tell yourself exactly that: “I am God’s beloved child, in whom God is well pleased.” And I want you to find someone else who needs to hear it, and tell them the same thing.
